Sometimes, problems happen suddenly. We have a few appointments each day for urgent problems. If your problem is urgent, please tell the receptionists. They will set up an emergency appointment and let the doctor know.
If you have a new injury, you should go to the Accident and Emergency at the hospital. The Surgery does not have the tools to treat serious injuries.
We offer telephone appointments with all our doctors. You can use this service for:
There are appointments available every day with each doctor. Please tell the receptionist who helped you first so we can keep things consistent. However, please understand that this may not always be possible.
You can cancel your appointments through the reminder text, the NHS App, or by calling the practice at 01204 9693434.
It is important to let the reception staff know if you can't make it to your appointment. This way, someone else can use that time. If you don't tell the Practice and miss your appointment, you will get a letter saying you missed it. If you miss appointments a lot, you might be removed from the list.
Home visits are for very sick or bedbound patients. Your doctor will decide if a visit is needed and how urgent it is.
Home visits take about 40 minutes with travel time.
If your problem can be handled over the phone, please check the appointments tab for phone requests.
If you need a home visit, call the surgery before 10:00 am. The receptionist may ask for more details, which are private and help the doctor decide priorities. Please leave a current phone number as the doctor may call you back.
