Our Online Consult service gives you access to round the clock medical guidance allowing you to check symptoms, receive medical advice and

contact the surgery 24-7 through our online portal.

You will gain access to a wealth of medical information including articles and videos.

By filling in a simple health enquiry form you will be able to read information on how to treat your symptoms and what to do next.

The form will then come through to the surgery where we will review the information provided and we aim to respond to you within two working days.

We are currently receiving a high volume of calls relating to the COVID vaccine, please read the following to help you:

  1. You will be contacted by (Bolton Community Practice), and it will show ‘unknown number’ please make sure you answer this call and have a pen and paper ready.
  2. If you decline when you’re contacted and then change your mind, unfortunately we aren’t able to re-send your details. So PLEASE make sure you are completely sure that you wish to decline the vaccine.
  3. Dr Earnshaw and Partners are unable to confirm any times or dates, as we don’t hold this information and don’t have access to the appointment system.

 We understand your frustration but our PCN (which consists of 7 GP practices in Bolton) are doing its best to contact the thousands of patients and get through everyone in the groups.

Please be aware that we are guided by NHS England on which groups to invite and also by the amount of vaccines we receive.



Dr Earnshaw and Partners - We are located on the first floor of the Lever Chambers Centre for Health, in Bolton. All the doctors and nurses take pride in offering the highest standard of patient-centered healthcare.  We run many clinics for chronic disease care and offer a wide variety of other medical services such as antenatal, postnatal care, minor surgery, childhood vaccinations and well-person check-ups.

We are a long established practice within Bolton with a history going back to the days before the inception of the NHS.  All our doctors are long-term partners in the practice allowing us to build up good relationships with our patients. We are a training facility and currently take medical students from Manchester University

Our mission is to provide our patients with high quality, accessible care in a safe, responsive and courteous manner.

As a patient at our practice, if you would like to see a GP or Practice Nurse for a routine appointment in an evening or at the weekend, we are able to offer you weekday evening and weekend appointments at one of the Bolton GP Extended Access Hubs in Bolton.

Bolton’s GP practices have joined together, through their Federation, to offer appointments in the evenings and at weekends. These appointments are with Bolton GPs and Bolton Practice Nurses and are available at a via the Extended Primary Care Service provided by Bolton GP Federation on behalf of practices across Bolton.

From April 2019 the Federation is expanding their Workforce and you can make an appointment to see a Doctor, Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Practice Nurse, Health Care Assistant and now a Mental Health Practitioner and MSK practitioner (please note the MSK will NOT be able to offer joint injections) in one of the Hubs in the same way as you book appointments with us, through your own practice Reception.

Waters Meeting Health Centre

Winifred Kettle Health Centre (based in Westhoughton)

Monday to Friday 18:30 until 21:30

Saturday. 09.30 until 13:00

Sunday 09.30 until 13:00
