What is a Patient Participation Group (PPG)?
A Patient Participation Group (PPG) is a group where patients, carers, and GP staff talk about how the practice can be better. They discuss patient experiences and ideas to improve healthcare services.
PPG Purpose:
- Let patients and staff talk about things they care about.
- Help patients give ideas about their healthcare.
- Look at patient feedback and surveys to make plans and improve.
- Share thoughts on national surveys and suggest changes.
- Support health education.
Virtual PPG:
We are starting a virtual group for patients who can’t come to meetings. We’ll use email to keep you updated and get your ideas, just like in face-to-face meetings.
